During Comic Con, I went to a screening of Atomic Blonde. These screenings aren’t uncommon for Comic Con, but I’ve only done a couple. This was probably one of the best ones I’ve been to because it was so relaxing. Instead of just sitting in a line until the movie, they had this happy hour thing with an open bar and free food. It was pretty fun to just relax after walking all day at con. There was drinks, pretzels, bratwurst, and popcorn to consume. There was art and some photo booths for people to check out. Everyone was already guaranteed a seat in the movie screening. When it came time for the movie, we got escorted to the theatre. Charlize Theron and David Leitch were there to talk a bit before the movie. The movie was great. It felt a bit like if Drive was an action movie because of the music and overall aesthetic of the scenes and shots. It comes out this week and well worth the watch.
